Flauto Musicale is a full day of flute instruction, masterclasses, competition, and recitals for Erie area flutists.


Founded and directed by Anna Meyer, this event started in 2006 and is now in its fifth year!


The day's events will take place at Luther Memorial Church, Erie, PA.

2011 Schedule - Saturday, April 02, 2011

  • 9:00-9:30 - Warm-up Flutes with Kristin and Anna
  • 9:30 - Recital - Anna Meyer
  • 10:00-11:30 - Masterclass with Kristin Bacchiocchi-Stewart
  • Performers chosen by tape and will be competing for cash prizes
  • 11:30-12:30 - Lunch on your own
  • 12:30-1:30 - Body class with Solveig Santilliano of SoMar DanceWorks
  • 1:30-3:00 - Masterclass with Anna Meyer
  • Performers chosen by tape and will be competing for cash prizes
  • 3:30-4:00 - Recital - Kristin Bacchiocchi-Stewart
  • 4:10 - Competition Winners announced (1st place $100; 2nd place $75)

Registration

  • $50 - Entire Day Events - Deadline March 21, 2011
  • $65 - Registration at the door the day of Flauto

Competition

  • $10 - Tape fee - send in an audition tape to be entered in the competition
  • Play for our Masterclass and compete for cash prizes
  • Non-refundable, does not apply toward application fee
  • Tape Submission Deadline March 21, 2011
